Spring Blooms

Spring Break is on, and I took advantage of what might be our last day of sunshine for the week. Finally, I get to share the season’s colors from the window of the Pacific Northwest!

Chocolate mint with its tiny pink flowers.

This coneflower has been kept indoors and flowering for a while, but it’s been much happier having more sun in its new spot.

Saw these on our walk to the park. No idea what they are, but they aren’t daffodils so I had to appreciate their yellow blooms.

Our little azalea, loving the morning sun.

But nothing like the ones at the park!

Also spotted on our stroll. An iris, maybe? Slugs have feasted hard on the poor things, but I love the white and light purple.

This poor rosemary has been uprooted two years in a row now. I don’t fully expect it to live, and I don’t know where to go with it if it does. But, it’s putting out its best Spring effort anyway!

Just because it wouldn’t be a Spring collection without them.

I will come back and add a couple more soon as my citronella and spider plant buds decide to open. 😄
